Leadership

Jason has served as Senior Pastor at CBC since 2021.  He married his wife Kimberly in 2004 and they have one daughter, Madison.  Jason has been in Christian Ministry for over 20 years, faithfully serving the Lord and making disciples.  He earned his BS in Biblical Studies from Texas Baptist College in Ft. Worth, TX, and a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary also in Ft. Worth, TX.  Jason is a native Texan, and while he doesn't watch much college football, he is a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan.

Matt has been a member of CBC since 2006 and came on staff as Minister of Education in 2010.  He married his wife, Mary, in 2003.  Matt & Mary have seven children; Jesse, Lilly, Bella, Noah, Grayson, Eli & Caleb.  Matt graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a BS in Health Information Management.  In an effort to keep the peace in his home, Matt roots for both Bama and Auburn.

Kyle joined the CBC staff in August of 2023.  He married his wife Sonia in 1995 and they have two daughters; Isabella & Hannah.  Kyle graduated from Troy State University with a Bachelor's in Administration and then attended Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary where he received a Master's in Christian Leadership.  Despite being a Troy Trojan, his allegiance lies with Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide

Matthew and his family joined the CBC family in 2018, and came on staff  in 2021 as the Minister of Students.  Matthew earned his Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from Troy State University in 2003, a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2006, then a Masters of Theological Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2020.  Matthew married his wife Kristi in 2006 and have two daughters, Maddie and Sydney, and one son, Hartley.  Matthew is lucky that his two favorite college teams, Troy and Alabama, do not often cross paths.

Lisa and her husband joined CBC in 2009 and became the church's Ministry Administrative Secretary in 2011.  She and Don have been married since 2008.  While Lisa roots for the Alabama Crimson Tide, Don is a War Eagle all the way.

Favorite Verse: John 14:27

Lisa and her husband joined CBC in 2007, and one week later she was hired as the church pianist.  She and Paul have been married since 1996 and have three children; Eddie, Rachel, & Reagan.  She earned her BS in Mathematics and Music from University of North Alabama in Florence, AL, and then her Master of Music from The University of Montevallo in Montevallo, AL.  Lisa is a Kentucky Wildcats fan.
